Dark Matter by Michelle Paver (Book Review)

Hello!  It's been a long time since I posted here and it's not because I haven't been wanting to!  I'm still stuck working out of town.  :-(

Hope is near, though.  I have a regular cross-shift coming out shortly and will be actually able to spend time at home soon.

Even better news is that MY MAN CAVE IS COMING!!!   Wooo!
The construction guys have started working on it and will hopefully be completed in a few weeks.

A quick update - I listened to Dark Matter by Michelle Paver on my phone (with the Audible app).

A good mix of spooks and atmosphere, I enjoyed this book very much.  It's one of those stories that sticks with you days afterwards and I had the ship captain's "Ja" (said while intaking breath) in my head for weeks!  That speaks volumes as to the narrator's skill, whose character voices were enjoyable to listen to.  It's a slow-building spooky story, so don't expect things to be jumping out at you all the time.  It's worth the wait though, the parts when he is alone in the cabin is creepy as hell!
