A few more Aquan vehicles today - three Lamana Medium Skimmers and a Sirsir Medium Specialist Skimmer.
They are baseless as I am still working on the bases separately (so I don't frost up the acrylic rod when I spray it with sealant).
Edit: Based!!! (well, the specialist skimmer from above anyways. ;-) )
I managed to pump out a bunch of the little skimmers today too, just sealing them now...

Next Batch of Planetfall Aquans
I based up my test version of the Aquan colour scheme:
I cut off the base stand and substituted my own in the form of acrylic rod.
I was very pleased with how these Marana Light Skimmers came out:
They're part of the Recon Helix, and I still have a lot of Aquans to paint!

First Few Planetfall Aquans
I tried out my Aquan colour scheme on a few missile launcher thingies.
I like how they turned out! Now I'm working on a bunch of the Aquan vehicles. :-)

Planetfall Terran APC & Infantry
I finished up a Terran APC and six infantry bases for Planetfall recently:
I'm liking my choice of colour scheme for these guys and have some of the Terran interceptors on the go now.

Planetfall Painting Craziness!
Okay, I know it's been a while - but I've been busy! I got a LOT of the Planetfall minis painted:
I just finished the last picture of the Terran tanks today, and will be working on more Terrans soon.
Painted while listening to: Crimson Shore by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
I've read all of the Preston & Child books and some are better than others - this book is one of them. It's a Penderghast stand-alone, which are the ones I like better than the continued storyline ones. It has a good historical mystery in it and a twist near the end which I didn't see coming. I won't spoil the very very end of it, but it ties into the continued storyline and I didn't enjoy it. Too over-the-top for me. Other than that highly recommended!

Planetfall Directorate "Informer" Light Recon Buggy
I liked the look of the new Spartan Games Planetfall 10mm miniatures, so I picked up the main box and a few other helixes. I wasn't sure how they'd paint up, so I tried out a colour scheme on one of the buggies:
The bases are built into the miniature, so you're stuck with it if you don't like bases on your vehicles - I usually don't but I think these look good.
I think it turned out ok, and will be using this colour scheme for the rest of the Directorate forces.
